Responsibilities
I designed Bitter Bloom from the ground up. From concept and visual identity to packaging and brand story. The idea started with a simple observation: coffee is part of every mood, every pace of life: stop, pause, or go. That became the core concept behind the brand.
Collaboration
This was a solo project, so I led everything including research, concept development, design, and execution. Every decision came from exploring how a single idea, like a traffic light signal, could shape the entire personality of a brand.
Challenge
The hardest part was translating that everyday symbol, something as functional as a traffic light into something emotional and meaningful. I wanted people to feel the rhythm of life through design, without it feeling forced or literal. Balancing symbolism and simplicity was the real challenge.
Outcome
Bitter Bloom became a coffee brand that celebrates life’s changing moments. when to stop, when to slow down, and when to go. The brand identity feels calm yet bold, using warm tones and structured typography to express focus, flow, and reflection. For me, it’s more than just a design project, it’s a reminder that even in life’s traffic, there’s beauty in the pause.
